Basement Waterproofing

Your basement may not be filled with water, but that does not mean that it is waterproof. Water could be collecting in places you don’t realize and weakening the foundation your home relies on. The longer these problems persist, the more consequential they become. If left untreated, they can seriously compromise the structural integrity of your home. Water is incredibly efficient at seeping into any area where it can, and without proper waterproofing, small openings, cracks, and leaks because major issues.

Our basement waterproofing services are designed to help mitigate these effects. It’s best to get these waterproofing issues sorted out before they turn into a larger issue. With a rainy spring and summer time on the way, it’s best to get these basement issues solved now.

Drainage systems

Does water somehow find its way into your basement? An interior perimeter drainage system addresses hydrostatic pressure – that is, the pressure of groundwater forcing its way through the basement walls or foundation.

Cracks Repaired

Your foundation walls are designed to support the weight of your house and to resist moisture that’s surrounding them.  When foundations work, you get to live in a stable and dry environment.  When they crack, moisture seeps into your basement - it damages your property and promotes mold growth.

Sump Pumps

A sump pump is critical for keeping your basement dry. This is especially true if your home is prone to flooding. A sump pump helps prevent basement water problems by carrying excess water out of your basement and away from your foundation.

Radon Mitigation

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers, and it is deadly. If you haven’t tested for radon in your home, this odorless, colorless, invisible gas could be harming your family.

What is Radon gas?

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, killing approximately 22,000 people each year. A typical home is exposed to radon gases through the exposed soil in the crawlspace, which then enters the indoor air through cracks and leaks in the home, including the ducts.

Radon testing and mitigation

We can conduct a home inspection for radon and implement a radon mitigation system, if necessary. Our radon testing will provide the data that is necessary to develop an effective strategy to help radon dissipate from your home. The mitigation systems we design lower your home’s radon count to a safer level, ensuring the air you and your loved ones breathe is healthy.

We will design a radon mitigation system that is customized to your home's needs. Whether high levels of the gas were found in your home after radon testing was performed or you would like to implement a radon mitigation system as a preventative measure, we make sure your home will be healthy and safe for years to come.
